The Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals (VASSP) is the peak professional association for principals and assistant principals of government secondary education in the Australian state of Victoria. With antecedents dating back to the Victorian High Schools Headmasters’ Association, established in 1949, VASSP has a proud history of service to members and a strong commitment to public education.
Advocacy, Learning, and Support are the three pillars that represent the Association’s work for and on behalf of members:
Advocacy We provide advocacy for members and their schools.
Learning We deliver professional learning offerings that are relevant and impactful. This includes leadership conferences, statewide meetings, and a suite of professional workshops run by industry experts.
Support Our Field Officers and Project Manager are retired Principals, and are available to help you with specific needs. This could be anything from staff-related issues, to re-mapping your school's curriculum.
